Terms Used In Idaho Code 19-2025

  • Answer: The formal written statement by a defendant responding to a civil complaint and setting forth the grounds for defense.
  • Juror: A person who is on the jury.
  • Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
Upon the trial of a challenge to an individual juror, the juror challenged may be examined as a witness to prove or disprove the challenge, and must answer every question pertinent to the inquiry.
