Terms Used In Idaho Code 19-6012
- Indigent person: means a person who, at the time his need is determined pursuant to section 19-6009, Idaho Code, is unable to provide for the full payment of an attorney and all other necessary expenses of representation. See Idaho Code 19-6002
- person: includes a corporation as well as a natural person;

No person may be given the primary responsibility of representing an indigent person unless he is licensed to practice law in this state and is otherwise competent to counsel and defend a person charged with a crime.
