- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
The provisions of this act shall not be construed as mandatory, but permissive only as to any company, association of persons, or corporation, referred to in section 42-2301.
