(1) The board of pharmacy shall meet at least once every six (6) months to transact its business. One (1) such meeting held during each fiscal year of the state shall be designated as the annual meeting and shall be for the purpose of electing officers and for the reorganization of the board. The board shall meet at such additional times as it may determine. Such additional meetings may be called by the chairman of the board or by three (3) of the members of the board.
(2)  The board shall meet at such place as it may from time to time determine. The place for each meeting shall be determined prior to giving notice of such meeting and shall not be changed after such notice is given without adequate subsequent notice.

Terms Used In Idaho Code 54-1715

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories; and the words "United States" may include the District of Columbia and territories. See Idaho Code 73-114
(3)  Notice of all meetings of the board shall be given in the manner and pursuant to requirements prescribed by the state’s applicable statutes and rules.
(4)  A majority of the members of the board shall constitute a quorum for the conduct of a board meeting and, except where a greater number is required by the act or by any rule of the board, all actions of the board shall be by a majority of a quorum.
(5)  All meetings and hearings of the board shall be conducted in compliance with the provisions of chapter 2, title 74, Idaho Code.
