(1) The board may grant a temporary license to any person who, for the purpose of offering to render architectural services and for that purpose only, has submitted to the board a complete application for an architect’s license under this chapter and who, at the time of application, holds a valid and current license in good standing as an architect issued by the authorized regulatory entity of another state, territory or jurisdiction of the United States.
(2) A temporary license is valid for six (6) months from the date it is issued. A temporary license is nonrenewable and shall expire automatically upon issuance of a full initial license.

- Architect: means a person who engages in the practice of architecture as defined in this section and is licensed under the provisions of this chapter. See Idaho Code 54-303
- Board: means the board of architects and landscape architects. See Idaho Code 54-303
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
