Terms Used In Idaho Code 54-3114
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Board: means the state certified shorthand reporters board. See Idaho Code 54-3102

Any person who shall be aggrieved by any action of the board in denying, refusing to renew, suspending, revoking or otherwise disciplining a certified shorthand reporter certificate or temporary permit may seek judicial review thereof as provided in chapter 52, title 67, Idaho Code. A copy of the petition for judicial review shall be served upon the board and upon the board’s administrative legal counsel who shall represent the board in such appeal.
