Terms Used In Idaho Code 67-5333A
- Eligible: means a person who has been determined to be qualified for a classified position and whose name has been placed on the register of eligibles. See Idaho Code 67-5302
- Public education entity: means community colleges, public school districts, public charter schools and the Idaho digital learning academy. See Idaho Code 67-5302
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories; and the words "United States" may include the District of Columbia and territories. See Idaho Code 73-114
- State educational agency: means the following state agencies and educational institutions under the governance of the Idaho state board of education:

Any employee who becomes an eligible employee of a state educational agency immediately following termination of employment with a public education entity shall be credited by the state of Idaho with the amount of any unused sick leave previously accrued upon commencement of state educational agency employment. Any employee who becomes an eligible employee of a public education entity immediately following termination of state educational agency employment shall be credited by the public education entity with the amount of sick leave accrued upon commencement of public education entity employment. After such transfer, the use of sick leave shall be governed by the laws, rules and policies applicable to the state educational agency or public education entity thereafter employing such employee.
