Terms Used In Idaho Code 7-706
- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Property: includes both real and personal property. See Idaho Code 73-114
- Summons: Another word for subpoena used by the criminal justice system.
All proceedings under this chapter must be brought in the district court for the county in which the property is situated. They must be commenced by filing a complaint and issuing a summons thereon.
