- board: means the board of directors of the Idaho digital learning academy as such board is created in section 33-5503, Idaho Code. See Idaho Code 33-5505
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Ex officio: Literally, by virtue of one's office.
- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
