At any time after suspension, revocation, placement on probationary status, or the taking of any other disciplinary action with regard to any license, the Department may restore the license, or take any other action to restore the license to good standing upon the written recommendation of the Board, unless after an investigation and a hearing, the Board determines that restoration is not in the public interest. No person whose license has been revoked as authorized in this Act may apply for restoration of that license until such time as provided for in the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois.
A license that has been suspended or revoked shall be considered nonrenewed for purposes of restoration and a person restoring his or her license from suspension or revocation must comply with the requirements for restoration of a nonrenewed license as set forth in Section 11 of this Act and any related rules adopted.
