- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
The provisions of this Act and of any resolution or proceeding authorizing the issuance of bonds shall constitute a contract with the holders of the bonds, and the provisions thereof shall be enforceable either by mandamus or other proceeding in any court of competent jurisdiction to enforce and compel the performance of all duties required by this Act and by any resolution authorizing the issuance of bonds adopted in response hereto.
