Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 110 ILCS 975/3.1
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
An approved institution must maintain compliance with all applicable State and federal laws. An approved institution is not eligible for other programs administered by the Commission and is not required to meet the definition of “institution of higher learning”, “qualified institution”, or “institution” as defined in Section 10 of the Higher Education Student Assistance Act. The Commission may establish by rule additional requirements for approved institutions.
