Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 15 ILCS 405/18

  • Month: means a calendar month, and the word "year" a calendar year unless otherwise expressed; and the word "year" alone, is equivalent to the expression "year of our Lord. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.10
  • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     Records of bonded indebtedness.The Comptroller shall maintain current records indicating the outstanding bonded indebtedness of the State and of all State agencies, setting out the State agency incurring the indebtedness, whether general obligation or revenue bonds, the amount of the outstanding indebtedness, maturity schedules, interest rates and such other information as may be required for professional, accurate and current accounting. The Treasurer of the State of Illinois shall report to the Comptroller each month changes in such outstanding general obligation bonded indebtedness. The Comptroller shall maintain similar current records on the amount of authorized indebtedness on which debt has not been incurred.
