Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 15 ILCS 405/9.02

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     No warrant for the expenditure, disbursement, contract, administration, transfer or use of federal funds by any recipient State agency subject to the reporting requirement of Section 5.1 of the Governor’s Office of Management and Budget Act shall be drawn by the Comptroller until the Comptroller receives certification from the recipient agency that such federal funds have been reported to the Bureau as required by that Section.
