Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 15 ILCS 415/2
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
“Records” as used in this Act means all vouchers, warrants, and contracts, regardless of physical form or characteristics, made or received by the State Comptroller in pursuance of law or in connection with the transaction of public business. Not included within the definition of “records” are library and museum materials made and acquired solely for reference or exhibition purposes, extra copies of documents preserved only for convenience of reference and stocks of publications and of processed documents, and such material need not be photographed or microfilmed before destruction.
