- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
The Commissioner shall have all of the powers granted to him under the Illinois Banking Act, to the extent appropriate to enable him to supervise a banking office of a foreign banking corporation holding a certificate of authority to maintain such office.
