Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 20 ILCS 2625/2

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     The Illinois State Police may request the cooperation and use of facilities of any rescue unit to aid it when engaged in any activity designed to save human life or to recover the body of a victim. Such a request shall be directed to a rescue unit or units located within the district where the rescue work is to be performed. If there is no rescue unit located within the district or if there are not sufficient rescue units therein to perform the required work, requests may be directed to rescue units located in other districts.
