Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 20 ILCS 3010/2

  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     The purposes of the capital improvement programs are (a) to inventory the State‘s own capital assets, (b) to determine the match between needs and resources, (c) to plan for capital investments and maintenance of existing facilities, (d) to analyze the relationships between capital, maintenance, and operating spending, and (e) to assist Illinois in competing for its fair share of federal infrastructure dollars.
