- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
The provisions of this Act and of any resolution or proceeding authorizing the issuance of bonds shall constitute a contract with the holders of such bonds. The provisions thereof shall be enforceable by mandamus, injunction or other civil action or proceeding in any court of competent jurisdiction to enforce and compel the performance of any duties required by this Act or any resolution or proceeding authorizing the issuance of such bonds, including the establishment of sufficient charges, fees or rentals and the application of the income from a project under this Act, as provided above.
