- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
The Office of Banks and Real Estate shall be open for transaction of public business from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or at such other hours as the Governor may prescribe from time to time by executive order, on each day except Saturdays, Sundays, and days declared by the Governor to be holidays for State employees.
