- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
“Guardian” means a person appointed as a guardian of the person or guardian of the estate, or both, of a resident under the “Probate Act of 1975”, as now or hereafter amended.
