- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
“Stockholder” of a corporation means any person who, directly or indirectly, beneficially owns, holds or has the power to vote, at least 5% of any class of securities issued by the corporation.
