An ambulatory surgical treatment center that elects to have an agreement with the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, as provided in 42 C.F.R. § part 416, must also meet the Medicare conditions as an ambulatory surgical center, as set forth in 42 C.F.R. § part 416, and have an active agreement with the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to participate in Medicare as an ambulatory surgical center provider in Illinois.
