- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
The Director shall have, with respect to dental service plan corporations, the powers of examination conferred upon him relative to insurance companies by Sections 132 through 132.7 of the Illinois Insurance Code. The cost of any examination shall be paid by the corporation examined.
