Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 215 ILCS 5/63

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     The name or designation under which contracts are to be exchanged shall include the words “Reciprocal” or “Inter-Insurance Exchange” or be supplemented by the following words immediately below the name or designation under which such contracts are exchanged: “A Reciprocal” or “An Inter-Insurance Exchange.” Such name or designation shall not be the same as or deceptively similar to the name or designation adopted by any other domestic company or any foreign or alien company authorized to transact business in this State.
