- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
It shall be unlawful for any person or entity located in this State to knowingly receive any prescription drug from any source other than a person or entity required by the laws of this State to be licensed to ship into, out of, or within this State. A person or entity licensed under the laws of this State shall include, but is not limited to, a wholesale distributor, manufacturer, third-party logistics provider, pharmacy distributor, or pharmacy. Any person violating this Section shall, upon conviction, be adjudged guilty of a Class C misdemeanor. A second violation shall constitute a Class 4 felony.
