Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 225 ILCS 335/9.8
- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
Any person who is found to have violated any provision of this Act is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor for the first offense. On conviction of a second or subsequent offense the violator is guilty of a Class 4 felony. Each day of violation constitutes a separate offense.
