Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 225 ILCS 41/15-85
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
No provision of this Code shall apply to, or in any way interfere with, the duties of any officer of any public institution; nor with the duties of any officer of a medical college, county medical society, anatomical association, college of embalming, or any other recognized person carrying out the laws of the State of Illinois prescribing the conditions under which indigent dead human bodies are held subject for scientific or anatomical study; nor with the customs or rites of any religious sect in the funeral and burial of their dead.
