- Probation: A sentencing alternative to imprisonment in which the court releases convicted defendants under supervision as long as certain conditions are observed.
At any time after the successful completion of a term of probation, suspension, or revocation of a license, the Department may restore the license to the accused entity upon the written recommendation of the Board unless, after an investigation and a hearing, the Board determines that restoration is not in the public interest. Restoration under this Section requires the filing of all applications and payment of all fees required by the Department.
