Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 225 ILCS 56/120

  • Testimony: Evidence presented orally by witnesses during trials or before grand juries.
     Any court, upon application of the Department, designated hearing officer, or the applicant or licensee against whom proceedings under Section 95 are pending, may order the attendance and testimony of witnesses and the production of relevant documents, papers, files, books, and records in connection with any hearing or investigation. The court may compel obedience to its order by proceedings for contempt.
