- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
Any person, not licensed in this State to practice medicine in all of its branches, who holds themselves out by any sign or advertisement, or by a writing of any kind, to treat human ailments without therein attaching to their name a word or words indicating the system, method or kind of practice which they are licensed to pursue in this State, shall be sentenced as provided in Section 59.
