In counties having less than 3 million inhabitants in which there is created a County Veterans Assistance Commission, the Superintendent of Veterans Assistance shall be selected and other employees appointed as provided in § 10 of the Military Veterans Assistance Act and the compensation of the Superintendent and other employees shall be as therein provided.
