- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
Nothing in this Act shall be construed to preclude the deposit of public funds in accordance with any other Act applicable thereto or to subject any treasurer or other custodian to any liability to which he would not be subject in the absence of this Act. This Act does not apply to the Illinois State Treasurer. Deposit of State money by the Illinois State Treasurer shall be governed by the Deposit of State Moneys Act.
