- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
The Auditor General shall conduct a change over audit of the State Treasurer’s accounts at the conclusion of each term of office of the State Treasurer or, in the case of successive terms by a State Treasurer, at the conclusion of that State Treasurer’s time in office.
