Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 320 ILCS 65/25

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     The Department shall contract with area agencies on aging and other appropriate agencies to conduct family caregiver support services to the extent of available State and federal funding. Services provided under this Act must be provided according to the requirements of federal law and rules, except for the provision of services to grandparents or older individuals who are relative caregivers when State funding is utilized to provide those services.
