Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 330 ILCS 45/8
- County board: means the board of county commissioners in counties not under township organization, and the board of supervisors in counties under township organization, and the board of commissioners of Cook County. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.07
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
The commander, quartermaster, or commandant of any veteran service organization or the superintendent of any county Veterans’ Assistance Commission of Illinois shall annually report to the Governor, on or before the first day of January of each year, such portions of the transactions of the aforementioned veteran service organization or Veterans Assistance Commission relating thereto as the commander or superintendent may deem to be of interest to that organization and the people of the State. A copy of that report shall be provided to the president or chairperson of the county board and shall be made publicly available online.
