- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
It is unlawful for a person to act in this State as the agent or representative of a distributor who does not maintain a place of business in this State unless such distributor is the holder of a permit issued pursuant to Section 7 of this Act. Any person who violates this provision is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. Each and every day any such person so acts shall constitute a separate offense.
