Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 35 ILCS 158/15-40
- Month: means a calendar month, and the word "year" a calendar year unless otherwise expressed; and the word "year" alone, is equivalent to the expression "year of our Lord. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.10
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
The Department shall each month, upon collecting any taxes as provided in this Law, pay 20% of the money collected into the State and Local Sales Tax Reform Fund, a special fund in the State treasury, and 80% into the General Revenue Fund.
