Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 40 ILCS 15/1.4

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     Appropriations for the Community College Health Insurance Security Fund. Beginning in State fiscal year 1999, there is hereby appropriated, on a continuing annual basis, from the General Revenue Fund to the State Comptroller for deposit into the Community College Health Insurance Security Fund, an amount equal to the amount certified by the Board of Trustees of the State Universities Retirement System under subsection (c) of Section 6.10 of the State Employees Group Insurance Act of 1971 as the estimated total amount of contributions to be paid under subsection (a) of that Section 6.10 in that fiscal year. The moneys appropriated under this Section 1.4 shall be deposited into the Community College Health Insurance Security Fund and used only for the purposes authorized in Section 6.9 of the State Employees Group Insurance Act of 1971.
