Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 40 ILCS 5/21-102.20
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
“Mandatory Social Security coverage” means the coverage in the federal Social Security System that is required under Section 210 of the federal Social Security Act for certain State and local government personnel who are not members of a State or local governmental retirement system.
