Nothing in this Act shall be construed to require a person who installs a new or used manufactured home on his or her own property outside a mobile home park as defined in the Mobile Home Park Act to acquire an installer’s license. However, said person may not hire anyone for the purpose of avoiding the licensure requirement. Such individual also waives any rights provided under this Act as a result of not using a licensed installer.
