- Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
The Attorney General shall enforce Sections 3 and 7. Actions to enforce this Act by injunctive and any other relief appropriate for enforcement may be filed in the circuit court in Sangamon County or the county where a violation occurred in whole or in part. In an enforcement action under this Act, if it is determined that a person commenced a regulated release and did not comply with Section 3, the court shall enter an injunction directing the person to cease the regulated release.
