- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
Any powers herein granted to the Commission shall be regarded as in aid of and supplemental to and in no case a limitation upon any of the powers vested in said Commission by other laws of the State of Illinois or by the laws of the States of Indiana, Kentucky, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and West Virginia, or by Congress or the terms of said Compact.
