Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 275/11
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
Any dispute concerning a question of fact arising under this Act with respect to an office in the executive branch of the state government, except a dispute of fact relative to the office of governor, shall be adjudicated by the governor, or other official authorized under the constitution and this Act to exercise the powers and discharge the duties of the office of governor, and his decision shall be final.
