A public officer who fails, neglects, or refuses to discharge any duty imposed on that officer by Sections 3.1-35-65 through 3.1-35-75, or who violates any provisions of Sections 3.1-35-65 through 3.1-35-80, is guilty of a petty offense and upon conviction shall be fined not less than $25 nor more than $100, in addition to any other penalties prescribed by law.
