Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 705 ILCS 65/4

  • Appellate: About appeals; an appellate court has the power to review the judgement of another lower court or tribunal.
     The Supreme Court or its designee shall determine the style, manner, size, quality, and general format in which said decisions shall be published, together with the frequency thereof; provided that if the decisions of the Supreme and Appellate Reports are published in a single volume, said volume shall be entitled “Illinois Reports” and, if published in separate volumes, “Illinois Reports” for the Supreme Court decisions, and “Illinois Appellate Reports” for the Appellate Court decisions.
