No bonds, other than revenue bonds issued pursuant to Section 2-50, or bonds issued pursuant to an intergovernmental agreement as contemplated by the exception contained in Section 200-20, shall be issued by the Authority until the proposition to issue the same has been submitted to and approved by a majority of the voters of said metropolitan area voting upon the proposition at a general election, after at least 10 days notice of such submission has been given by publishing said notice one time in one or more newspapers published in said metropolitan area. Any proposition to issue bonds as herein set forth shall be submitted upon ballot separate and distinct from any other ballot and may be in substantially the following form:

Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 200/200-25
- Authority: means the Pekin Civic Center Authority. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 200/200-5
- Metropolitan area: means all that territory which is in the corporate boundaries of the City of Pekin. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 200/200-5
