Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 200/270-20
- Board: means the governing and administrative body of the Waukegan Civic Center Authority. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 200/270-5
- Ex officio: Literally, by virtue of one's office.
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
The mayor and alderpersons, ex officio, of the City of Waukegan shall be the members of the Board. Before entering upon the duties of his office, each member of the Board shall take and subscribe the constitutional oath of office and file it in the office of the Secretary of State.
