Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 200/60-10

  • Authority: means the Collinsville Metropolitan Exposition, Auditorium and Office Building Authority. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 200/60-5
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Metropolitan area: means all that territory in the State of Illinois lying within the corporate boundaries of the City of Collinsville. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 200/60-5
     There is hereby created a political subdivision, body politic and municipal corporation by the name and style of Collinsville Metropolitan Exposition, Auditorium and Office Building Authority in the metropolitan area. The principal office of the Authority shall be in the City of Collinsville.
