Except as otherwise provided in Section 3B.13, before the Commuter Rail Board may enter into or amend any employment contract in excess of $100,000, the Commuter Rail Board must submit that contract or amendment to the Board for review for a period of 14 days. After 14 days, the contract shall be considered reviewed. This Section applies only to contracts entered into or amended on or after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 98th General Assembly.
Before the Board of the Regional Transportation Authority may enter into or amend any employment contract in excess of $100,000, the Board must submit that contract to the Chairman and Minority Spokesman of the Mass Transit Committee, or its successor committee, of the House of Representatives, and to the Chairman and Minority Spokesman of the Transportation Committee, or its successor committee, of the Senate.
